   Rough Boys is one of the stronger songs and Velcro Fly is fun which is a hallmark of ZZ Top. Other songs like Sleeping Bag & Delirious ensure the album moves a long at a fast pace but it always feels as if they just thought Eliminator was good we'll just copy that. Worth a try but don't judge ZZ Top on this album/5().

ZZ Top performs in the music video "Velcro Fly" from the album "Afterburner" recorded for Warner Brothers Records. The video opens with hieroglyphics and a woman dancing while dressed in Egyptian clothing. She is later joined by a woman with a powdered wig and a belly dancer.

   So, Afterburner, their most synthetic album, will not please most ZZ Top fans, even if it did go platinum several time over and reached number four. That's all just a sign of the times, when even hard rock bands had to sound as slick as synth pop, complete with clanging DX-7s and cavernous drums.
